Amazon Games Will Publish Next Tomb Raider Game from Crystal Dynamics

Crystal Dynamics have announced that they have entered a partnership with Amazon Games Studios to publish and produce the next game in the "Tomb Raider" franchise.

Crystal Dynamics, who Embracer recently purchased from Square Enix, announced the new game last year at an Unreal Engine 5 event confirming that the game would be made on Unreal Engine 5.

Amazon Games Studios, who have launched two games, "Lost Ark" and "New World", have faced harsh scrutiny in the gaming space recently for the trouble they have had releasing games. This announcement seems like a way for Amazon Games to partner with a talented game studio and help booster their name in the industry.

According to Scot Amos, studio head at Crystal Dynamics, the new game will take Lara Croft and the franchise back to its roots. We already know from past information that the new game will bring together the timelines of the Survivor Trilogy and classic games.
