Remedy Entertainment has announced that they have entered a co-development and co-publishing agreement with 505 Games to develop a sequel to 2019's "Control", simply titled "Control 2".

Previously known as Codename Heron, the game will have a starting budget of EUR 50
million and be developed on Remedy's signature Northlight engine for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Remedy also stated that the game is still only in the concept stage, so we are still a long way out from release.

Remedy is currently working on "Alan Wake 2", remakes of the first two "Max Payne" games, and "Project Condor", a multiplayer spin-off set in the "Control" universe.
