Mojang just wrapped up 2022's Minecraft Live event. The event revealed title update 1.20, which has a focus on "self-expression, representation, and storytelling". To start off, there will be seven new default skins covering a more diverse group. The update will also include multiple new items, such as hanging signs, bamboo wood, rafts, and chiseled bookshelves.

The update will also bring a brand new mob with the Camel. Found in desert villages, they will be a rideable mob that can carry up to two players. The camel won't be the only new mob coming out in the future though. The Sniffer was the winner of the Mob Vote, beating out the Rascal and Tuff Golem. Congratulations to the Sniffer!

Finally, "Minecraft Legends" had its release window revealed for Spring 2023. Revealed this summer at Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, we got our first look at "Minecraft Legends" gameplay during the Minecraft Live presentation.
