Today's Nintendo Direct gave us a brand new full-length trailer for "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", set for release in April 2023.
The trailer gave us a better look at Chris Pratt's Mario and Jack Black's Bowser, along with the first snippets of Anya-Taylor Joy's Princess Peach, Seth Rogan's Donkey Kong, and Charlie Day's Luigi.
The trailer also gave us some references to the franchise, such as the appearance of the Yoshi species, Rainbow Road from Mario Kart, and even a scene depicting a classic 2D Mario-level stage.
The plot seems to follow Mario, Toad, and Princess Peach attempting to save Luigi from the clutches of Bowser.
"The Super Mario Bros. Movie" releases in theaters on April 7th, 2023. Watch the full trailer here.
