Today, PlayStation held its big showcase. We got a lot of great reveals and announcements, and we're here to give you a rundown of the show's biggest announcements.
Spider-Man 2
Sony ended the show with a look at Insomnia's highly-anticipated Spider-Man 2. We saw Kraven the Hunter take to New York to hunt down not just Peter Parker and Miles Morales, but many of Spider-Man's classic rouges gallery. Of course, the big reveal was Peter Parker springing into action with the iconic Symbiote Black suit, combined with some all-new venom powers. We then got to see both Spider-Men team up as they chased down the Lizard who was being hunted by Kraven and his crew.
Spider-Man 2 seems to have expanded the map with us seeing gameplay in Queens and across what seems to be expanded areas of water. The gameplay trailer had quite a bit of smaller features that we may have missed, so we highly recommend watching it to see all the new action for yourself.
Spider-Man 2 is set for release sometime this Fall exclusively for PlayStation 5.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Konami brought a major announcement to the show with a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. While the trailer didn't give us much, we did get a look at some pics from in-game after the show.
Big Boss and the Metal Gear franchise will make their triumphant return to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in the near future.
In other Metal Gear news, Metal Gear Solid 1-3 will also be ported to current-gen platforms.

Marathon
Bungie is returning to the Marathon franchise, a series they have not worked on since before the creation of Halo. Marathon will be a PvP extraction shooter. Not many details were given, but the game will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with full cross-play and cross-save support.
In other Bungie news, we also got a trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The finale expansion for the Light & Darkness Saga will see Nathan Fillion return as Cayde-6. Bungie announced that a Destiny showcase will occur on August 22nd to share more details on the expansion.

Dragon's Dogma 2
After being announced by Capcom last summer, Dragon's Dogma 2 was finally fully revealed. We got a great look at the game with tons of gameplay and story to help give us a look at the whole new world. The gameplay seems to have expanded greatly on the magic and action of the original title. This was easily my favorite trailer of the showcase and we highly recommend you give the full trailer a watch.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in the near future.
Alan Wake 2
Remedy gave us a great look at Alan Wake 2, which is coming very soon. The game will take players to Bright Falls and feature two protagonists, Alan Wake and Agent Sage Anderson. The horror experience will see the people of Bright Falls corrupted by a mysterious force as players rush to solve the mystery.
Alan Wake 2 releases on October 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
