Afterward, we got a launch trailer for Destiny 2 Lightfall, followed by a new trailer for Tchia, which will launch on March 21st. Next, Enhance, the creators of Tetris Effect, gave us a look at their brand new game called Humanity. You will play as a dog who guides people through puzzles. The game will also feature VR support and the ability to create and share levels.
The State of Play continued with a new look at Goodbye Volcano High, releasing June 15th, and Naruto/Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, try saying that five times fast. And before we got to our big reveals, we got another look at the new MMO, Wayfinder, which will be receiving a beta on February 28th.
Then, we got a look at Baldur's Gate 3, which will be coming to PlayStation 5. The trailer gave us a look at the game and also confirmed that J.K. Simmons will be voicing one of the main villains. It was also announced that the game will support local split-screen and online co-op. Baldur's Gate 3 launches on August 31st.
Capcom took over the State of Play with some fun reveals. First, we got a look at three new fighters. Zangief will be making his return with an updated look, and the newcomer Lily introduced herself, while Cammy returns with a stunning new look. Street Fighter 6 is currently slated for June 2nd.
Capcom then continued the show with a brand-new thrilling look at Resident Evil 4's remake. The trailer gave us a deep dive into some of the later parts of the game and Capcom also confirmed the return of the iconic Mercenaries mode to the game. The game releases on March 24th.
Finally, the showcase ended with an extensive look at Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. We got to see a bit of the story, which will take place 5 years after Batman Arkham Knight, including the Suicide Squad trying to save Lex Luthor from the Flash, and the Flash being stopped by Wonder Woman and revealing one of the key motives in the story.
It seems the game will be a live-service third-person shooter, with a focus on upgrading your gear and improving your stats. You will be able to play the game single-player or with up to 3 friends. Rocksteady also confirmed the game will have a Battle Pass and have new playable characters and story content in the future. Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League launches on May 26th.
