Minecraft 1.20 Brings the Cherry Blossom Biome

Mojang has announced that the long-awaited 1.20 update will also be bringing a brand-new biome to the game in the form of the Cherry Blossom biome. The new environment will bring the iconic trees to the game, including an all-new pink wood set.

A Tetris Movie? Tetris Releases First-Look at Movie Telling History of the Game

Apple has released the first look at the "Tetris" movie. Based on the real-life story, "Tetris" will show us how the iconic game made its way out of the Soviet Union and became the worldwide phenomenon that it did. Starring Taron Egerton in the lead role, "Tetris" will release on Apple TV+ on March 31.

Next Civilization Game in Development; Shakeups at Fireaxis Games

After releasing "Marvel's Midnight Suns" last December, Fireaxis Games seems to be moving on to a new era. Creative director of the XCOM franchise and Midnight Suns, Jake Solomon, announced he would be leaving the studio after 23 years. Also, Heather Hazan has also been named the studio head going forward.

In the same press release, Take-Two confirmed that the next game in the Civilization franchise has started development, with Ed Beach continuing his role as creative director.
