Xbox Developer_Direct Set for January 25th; Xbox becomes First Carbon Aware Console

After some rumors earlier this week, Xbox has officially confirmed a brand new showcase called Developer_Direct. Set for January 25 at 12pm PT time, the showcase will give us brand new looks at Arkane's "Redfall", Mojang Studio's "Minecraft Legends", the brand-new "Forza Motorsport" from Turn 10, and finally a new update for Zenimax Studio's "The Elder Scrolls Online".

The Developer_Direct will not feature any hosts and instead will focus on the developers and showing off their games. As for the appearance of what is set to be Xbox's biggest game of the year, "Starfield", the game will instead have a standalone show set for premiere sometime in the near future.

In other Xbox news, the company announced that Xbox has become the first carbon aware console on the market. Microsoft has set a goal of becoming a carbon negative company by 2030.
